RPCDH Institute For Research And Philosophy

A Pillar of Truth and Discovery

Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity’s Institute for Research and Philosophy is one of the most vital pillars of the College. This institute offers academic and practical contribution to investigating, experimenting and solving issues which confront us in daily life.

The institute focuses on studious inquiry or examination especially : investigation or experimentation aimed at the discovery and interpretation of facts, revision of accepted theories or laws in the light of new facts, or practical application of such new or revised theories or laws.

It carefully and diligently search to understand facts and truth regarding issues of nature and life. Through an unwavering commitments to seeking for the truth (John 8:32), the institution resists preconceived biases and all forms of dogmas and with an empty hearts and yearning for progressive revelation and an unsearchable answers only the Most High God can provide.

The Bible teaches that Christians are called to be diligent in studying and understanding the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15). This includes engaging in research and philosophy to gain a deeper understanding of God’s truth and how it applies to all areas of life. Research allows believers to uncover new insights and perspectives on theological and philosophical issues, while philosophy provides a framework for thinking critically and logically about the world around us.

However, it is important for believers to approach research and philosophy with a biblical worldview, being cautious not to be led astray by worldly wisdom or human traditions (Colossians 2:8). Instead, believers should seek to align their thinking with the truth revealed in Scripture, allowing it to guide their research and philosophical pursuits (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Ultimately, the goal of research and philosophy for a believers should be to glorify God and grow in knowledge and understanding of His Word, using these tools as a means to deepen their faith and share the Gospel with others (1 Peter 3:15).
