Remnant Humanitarian Aid Missions
RHAID is passionate about supporting and advocating for support for a new born baby and mother

NEW BORN BABY AND NEEDY MOTHER SUPPORT
Providing humanitarian support for a newborn baby and a needy mother is a crucial aspect of caring for the vulnerable in society. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39) and to care for widows and orphans in their distress (James 1:27). This includes meeting the physical needs of those who are unable to care for themselves, such as a newborn baby and a needy mother.
Support could come in the form of providing food, shelter, medical care, and emotional support to ensure the well-being of both the mother and child. This reflects the heart of God, who is compassionate and cares for the marginalized and vulnerable in society (Psalm 68:5).
As believers, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing love and compassion to those in need (1 John 3:17-18). By providing humanitarian support to a newborn baby and a needy mother, we are not only meeting their physical needs but also demonstrating the love of Christ in a tangible way.
Remnant Humanitarian Aid Missions is a humanitarian arm of Royal Priest College of Divinity. This organization was established by Dr Remnant J. Jackson and affiliated to Royal Priest College of Divinity and Humanity.
In the Bible, we see examples of God’s people providing aid to others in need, even in the face of adversity. The concept of remnant humanitarian aid missions aligns with the biblical principle of caring for the marginalized and vulnerable in society. In the Old Testament, the remnant is often referred to as a faithful minority who remain true to God’s commands amidst a larger disobedient population (Isaiah 10:21-22, Micah 5:3). This remnant is called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8).
When considering humanitarian aid missions, Christians are called to follow the example of Jesus who cared for the poor, the sick, and the oppressed (Matthew 25:35-40). This includes providing practical assistance such as food, shelter, and medical care to those in need. Additionally, believers are encouraged to share the hope of the gospel along with meeting physical needs (1 John 3:17-18).
Ultimately, remnant humanitarian aid missions should be carried out with a heart by of compassion, a commitment to justice, and a desire to bring glory to God through acts of service and love towards others.

DISABLED SUPPORT AND CAREGIVING
The Bible teaches that all individuals are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and are therefore valuable and deserving of respect and care, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Proverbs 31:8-9 instructs us to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, including the disabled and marginalized. Jesus showed compassion and love towards those who were physically and mentally challenged during His earthly ministry (Matthew 9:35-36), demonstrating the importance of caring for the vulnerable and marginalized in society.
As believers, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), which includes those who are disabled or challenged. This may involve advocating for their rights, providing practical support, and showing them dignity and respect. Additionally, 1 Corinthians 12:22-26 reminds us that every member of the body of Christ is essential, including those who are disabled or challenged, and that we are called to care for one another and bear each other’s burdens.
In summary, supporting disabled and mentally and physically challenged individuals is not only a biblical mandate but also a reflection of God’s love and compassion for all His creation.

WIDOWS AND NEEDY OLDER WOMEN SUPPORT
In the Bible, widows and needy older women are specifically mentioned as a group deserving of support and care within the church community. In 1 Timothy 5:3-16, the apostle Paul gives instructions on how the church should care for widows who are truly in need and have no family to support them. He emphasizes the importance of honoring widows who are truly widows, meaning those who are alone and have no one else to care for them.
Furthermore, James 1:27 states that pure and undefiled religion in the sight of God is to visit orphans and widows in their distress. This demonstrates the biblical mandate for the church to care for those who are vulnerable and in need, particularly widows who may lack financial or emotional support.
Therefore, it is important for the church to have a system in place to provide practical support for widows and needy older women, whether it be through financial assistance, emotional support, or practical help with daily tasks. This reflects the compassionate and caring heart of God towards those who are marginalized and in need of assistance.
